About Alexandra
I’m a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) and Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) offering online therapy throughout New York State, including NYC. My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection, curiosity, and cultivating a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
My work focuses on helping adults slow down, understand the long-standing patterns shaping their lives, navigate stress or emotional overwhelm, and reconnect with their inner wisdom. My approach is warm, relational, and collaborative. Together, we’ll explore what’s working, what feels stuck, and what needs care and attention.
I offer both talk therapy and art therapy, blending evidence-based techniques with experiential practices to help clients explore and deepen self-understanding. Art-making is always optional—some clients never use it, while others find it a powerful way to access insight and deeper layers of healing.
I bring over 17 years of experience in therapeutic roles, including wilderness therapy, domestic violence services, university and group practice counseling settings, and the learning that has come from more than a decade of motherhood. I’m committed to ongoing learning and will be completing IFS (Internal Family Systems) Level 1 training in Spring 2026.
